Austin, TX: The latest EP from Backseat Soundtrack is scheduled for release in late 2020/early 2021. The album was Engineered and Mixed by Charles Godfrey at Scary American Studios in Austin, TX. After final mix, the 5 song album was sent to Dan Shike at Tone and Volume Mastering for the finishing touches.
Backseat Soundtrack EP Album Name Announced!
The band’s first studio album will be named after the 2nd track, “Ride”. The name symbolizes the band’s journey and overall vibe of the album. “Ride” will feature 5 tracks, and is due for release in late 2020 or early 2021.
Before the entire EP drops, the band will release the first single off the album, a track titled “The Minute”.

The Minute is the first track written, produced, and recorded by the entire Backseat Soundtrack lineup. The alt-rock ballad draws heavy influences from the Austin music scene, as well as Austin-band Black Pumas, indie rockers Cage the Elephant, and hall-of-famer Tom Petty.
